You will work closely with various teams to define specific requirements for planned procurements, advise on case development, and improve procurement efficiency through refined tender and evaluation processes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key business collaboratorsGain an in-depth understanding of business needs and create tailored procurement strategiesAssist in defining specific requirements for planned procurements and advise on case developmentImprove procurement efficiency by refining tender and evaluation documentationConduct supplier assessments and due diligence to support business collaboratorsReview commercial models and options to align with both business and supplier strategiesIdentify commercial risks and implement mitigation plans with agreed actionsEnsure appropriate business engagement at all stages of the procurement processLead negotiations on complex commercial and contractual termsDraft contractual terms and conditions in collaboration with the legal team when requiredMonitor supplier performance and compliance with commercial agreementsEmploy standard methodology procurement methods to manage risk and optimise valueProactively manage procurement projects to completionReport on procurement activities, including cost savings and valuable benefits, to the Senior Procurement ManagerChallenge and influence business collaborators to achieve the best outcomes for the organisationConduct market research to stay informed on standard methodologies and future market trendsShare knowledge, mentor junior procurement staff, and support procurement colleaguesRequirementsBusiness degree or equivalent commercial work experienceMinimum 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a blue-chip, commercial environment, ideally covering a wide range of indirect procurement categoriesExperience working in a non-mandated procurement environment, with the ability to influence collaborators at various levelsStrong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skillsExcellent commercial skill, with experience across multiple commercial modelsHighly analytical and organised, with excellent numeracy skillsStrong contract management and supplier performance management experienceProven ability to manage relationships with internal and external collaborators at all levels, including senior leadershipExtensive experience working with business functions in indirect spend categoriesStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and meet tight deadlinesA self-starter with strong teamworking and interpersonal skillsProficient in common IT packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)Experience in contract drafting and negotiation, covering both legal and commercial clausesPrevious experience with Coupa P2P​Alongside this attractive benefits package, you'll be immersed in a warm, collaborative culture where you can connect with a diverse community of experts who support your growth, career aspirations, and wellbeing.
