We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our team, working closely with the UK & Ireland Legal Director on a diverse range of legal matters. In this role, you'll help implement strategic legal and compliance projects, with a particular focus on consumer interests.Key responsibilities:Review, draft and negotiate broad range of complex B2C commercial contractsNavigate internal governance matters and provide guidance to the wider businessWork with colleagues to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including managing any regulatory investigationsSupport the development and ongoing review of processes including training the wider business and templatesLiaise with third part advisors and service providersAd-hoc support to the wider legal teamYou will:Come with a minimum of 8 years post-qualification experienceStrong knowledge of UK commercial and contractual lawIt is desirable that you have worked in-house or in a consumer focused environment/with consumer clientsCome with a confident attitude with ability to push back on decisions and actions when required and actively contribute to business discussionsYou are someone who cares about making a positive impact on a daily basis and you come with a can do attitude and creative mindsetThis opportunity a hybrid role with 1-2 days in officeIf this opportunity has piqued your interest, please contact Dominic Pulsford with your CV on .
