Purpose of the Role: As the Admin Assistant Garment Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the Moss Vision; To be admired for our craft, experience and sustainability. Desired by our customers and loved by our people. You will work in close collaboration with the Tech and Buying department, as well as suppliers to navigate products through all development stages, from conceptual samples to full-scale production. Key Responsibilities: To assist the technical team in their day to day roles by supporting them with ad hoc jobs Opening of all DHL and courier deliveries and confirming receipt via email to respective suppliers and factories Updating and creating a fit list based on samples receipt Sending out the fit list weekly to Tech & Buying and managing which product area will fit first Measuring of all samples which are receipted in house ready for weekly fit sessions Flag within the fit log what is out of tolerance, so the Tech team are aware during fit session Support the tech team on creating detailed CADs Update Tech Packs with appropriate comments and measurements, ensuring timely communication with suppliers Amend technical packs, BOMs and range overviews to keep all designs up to date and accurate. Collaborate with the Tech department and suppliers for product development through all stages, from sample development to final production. Help with filing of test reports within its appropriate season under its specific style Help with updating the customer complaint log with the information and outcome decided by the tech team Help tech team chase the buying team on any outstanding information needed to avoid causing delays What You''ll Need to Succeed: Technical: Previous work or study experience in the fashion retail sector Confident in the understanding of pattern cutting, garment construction Good knowledge of fabrication and yarn Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, and Excel About You: E xceptional organizational skills and proactive attitude A strong passion for tailoring and fashion Strong team player capabilities with an element of fun Commercial awareness with a focus on solving potential problems quickly Consistently embodies Moss''s core values and behavioral competencies in daily responsibilities and interactions.
