Senior Analyst & Data Specialist Data & Analytics / Finance / Business Intelligence / SQL Sutton Support Centre / Hybrid (3 days per week in office) 65k-75k per annum Relevant Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance) Join the Data & Analytics team at a leading UK organisation We''re seeking a talented and experienced Senior Analyst & Data Specialist to play a crucial role in supporting data projects and driving financial reporting insights. This role requires your experience in both managing a Data Migration as well as performing data analytics reporting and dashboarding as required. Your Role: Perform advanced data analysis on large datasets to extract actionable insights. Interpret trends, patterns, and correlations to support business decision-making within the Finance domain. Create clear and concise visualisations using business reporting software (Power BI preferred). Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Conduct in-depth analysis and investigations across the business. Work with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to identify data-driven business opportunities. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data extraction and analysis. Develop data validation methods to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency. Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to optimise data pipelines and infrastructure. What Youll Need: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data to diverse stakeholders. Extensive SQL skills used within a reporting environment. Familiarity with business reporting software solutions (Power BI preferred). A strong passion for data and its application in driving organisational improvement. High levels of integrity, professionalism, and a proactive approach to learning. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Highly detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate work. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
