Records Manager - RRD Salary: The starting salary is 47,060, which includes allowances totalling 2,928. The salary is broken down as 44,132 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale 52,652 Plus, a location allowance of 1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of 1,000. Location: The primary Met Location for this role is Sidcup. Travel across the Met Estate, to attend meetings as required by the business, is expected. The Role: Were building something new and were looking for someone who wants to be at the centre of it. The Mets Digital, Data and Technology team is expanding its Records Management capability. With one Records Manager already in post, were now bringing in another experienced professional to head up a new team. Youll be leading a small group of around five Junior Data Managers, focusing either on engagement or analytical work, depending on your strengths. Its not just about organising files this is about influencing how the Met manages data across its lifecycle: when we keep it, when we dispose of it, and how we do that ethically, legally and efficiently. Youll apply the NRAC, guide teams through Review, Retention and Disposal (RRD) processes, and support our move towards becoming a more data-driven organisation. Youll get involved in audits, develop retention schedules, respond to FOIs, and play a key role in shaping policy and practice.
