Job Overview: The Marketing Lead will be an essential part of Farmacys leadership team, responsible for designing and launching campaigns as well as nurturing our growing community around our core values. You will lead the development and execution of marketing and PR strategies that expand Farmacys reach and provide meaningful and engaging content that aligns with our mission. Reporting directly to the Founder and Senior Management, you will manage a Social Media Specialist and videography team. This role is ideal for a creative and dynamic individual who excels in community building, is comfortable with different media and creating diverse content (newsletters, social media, graphic design), passionate about the healing powers of food, and eager to find new ways to promote Farmacys educational and commercial offerings, including our books, supper clubs, retail, retreats, festivals, and upcoming initiatives, including a coffee subscription and take-home whole food products. The role will require both remote and in-person attendance at events and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Business Growth & Community Engagement: Lead the creation and implementation of campaigns, in collaboration with the wider team, to introduce new initiatives, including educational offerings, subscription services, events, products, retreats, festivals, and more. Build and nurture the Farmacy community by providing content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our mission of regenerative agriculture and wellness. Propose and test ways to increase sales of key Farmacy offerings. Marketing Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of the Farmacy marketing calendar, ensuring it supports seasonality, campaign objectives, partnerships and events. Track performance of campaigns and provide insights into how the company can improve and scale its marketing efforts. Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding Farmacys presence into new markets or channels that can elevate the brand and mission. Develop strategies to enhance community interaction through engaging social media posts, newsletters, and outreach campaigns. Content Creation & Creative Direction: Oversee the design and development of all graphic assets, including promotional materials, social media posts, films, physical assets and newsletters. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to create visually stunning content that supports Farmacys storytelling and mission. Develop new ideas for social media, from posts to interactive campaigns that encourage community participation and amplify the Farmacy brand. Ensure consistency in visual identity and brand messaging across all marketing touch points. Manage production and delivery of physical assets for Farmacy events and sites. Work in senior management feedback on assets produced. Social Media & Digital Presence: Grow and manage Farmacys social media platforms, ensuring consistent engagement with followers while promoting brand values and educational content. Monitor and respond to audience interactions across social media channels, fostering an authentic and positive community presence. Optimise social media growth through paid campaigns and organic content, with a focus on engagement, brand awareness, and driving sales. Managing Farmacys Image Library: Organise and maintain Farmacys visual assets including still photography, partner brand assets, video footage and edited reels. Ensure that visual assets are well-catalogued (by theme, date and partner) and easily available for use by the team. Select the right visual assets for each purpose. Liaise with videographers to maintain and update video libraries. Brand Management & PR: Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring that Farmacys values and mission are reflected in all communications. Hold all brand assets and make them easily available to team members, designers, and partners. Promote Farmacys books and events, ensuring they are spotlighted in media, at festivals, retreats, and other key events. Newsletter & Email Marketing: Take full ownership of Farmacys email marketing strategy, ensuring regular, high-quality newsletters that provide value to subscribers. Manage the creation, scheduling, and analysis of newsletters, focusing on engagement, brand loyalty, and growing the subscriber base. Use email marketing to promote Farmacys book, upcoming retreats, festivals, and educational platforms, driving traffic to our website and digital content. Qualifications & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in PR, marketing, or community management, ideally within the wellness, sustainability, or food sectors. Proven ability to develop and execute successful digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and content marketing. Strong creative and visual sense, with experience in graphic design and the ability to manage visual assets. Passion for and knowledge about sustainability, regenerative agriculture, food and community building. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and build relationships with media, influencers, and the community. Experience with content creation, social media management, and SEO best practices.
