Finance Assistant Sales Ledger | FMCG Sector | 28,00030,000 | Office-Based (Wembley) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant (Sales Ledger) to join a fast-paced, well-established business in the FMCG sector , based in Wembley. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to take the next step in their finance career, with exposure to leading national retailers and a collaborative finance team. The Opportunity: Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the sales ledger process, from raising and posting invoices to resolving customer queries and supporting credit control. Youll thrive in a vibrant office environment, with flexible working options and the occasional opportunity to work from home when needed. Key Responsibilities: Raise and post EDI invoices, particularly for major retailers such as Tesco Process credits for pricing or delivery discrepancies Resolve customer queries in a timely and professional manner Accurately allocate payments and manage deductions Process and understand debit notes from customers Raise and manage queries via retailer portals regarding delayed payments Collaborate with and support the broader credit control team What We''re Looking For (Nice to Haves): Previous experience in a similar finance/sales ledger role, ideally within FMCG or a fast-paced product-based environment Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Navision is a plus Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving A team player with a right-first-time mindset and the ability to work under pressure Why Apply?
