Were looking for a world-class Head of Finance to lead our finance function and help take the business through its next stage of growth. Youll work directly with the MD and board, manage a small but capable team, and take ownership of everything from factory-floor reporting to high-level financial strategy. This is a senior leadership role with a clear path to becoming Finance Director. Its perfect for someone who wants to build, improve, and lead with impact What youll be responsible for Youll be at the heart of our growth, making sure the numbers drive the decisionsand the business stays sharp. Youll lead the entire finance function, covering operational finance in manufacturing as well as AP, AR, FP&A and cashflow across the group. Youll manage and support a tight team of three: an AP lead, an AR lead, and a Finance Manager. Youll be the key finance partner to the MD and senior leadership team, helping guide decisions, improve performance and prepare the business for future scaleand potential sale. Youll ensure the numbers are right, the controls are tight, and the reporting is useful, timely and commercial. Youll own budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and margin analysis, ensuring we stay profitable as we grow. Youll lead audits, compliance and tax processes, and make sure were fit for purpose as a multi-million food business. Youll also shape the future of our finance systemsworking with Sage 200 and helping build out a best-in-class ERP and tech stack that works for a modern manufacturing business. Experience with Katana or similar tools is a real bonus. What we''re looking for This isnt your average FC gig. We need someone whos walked the walkexperienced enough to lead, but hands-on enough to get stuck in. Youve already been a Financial Controller or Head of Finance in a fast-moving business, ideally within food or manufacturing. You understand the challenges of multi-site, high-volume operationsand how to build financial processes that support them. Youre just as comfortable with a spreadsheet as you are presenting to the board. You can dig into details, but also zoom out and think strategically. You lead teams with clarity and warmth. You support your people, raise standards, and make them better. Youre systems-savvy and excited to help us build a modern finance stack that scales with the business.
