POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Commercial & Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will perform a variety of duties including daily AP/AR transactional duties and assisting in month-end and year-end processes. RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL Accounts Receivable/Billing: Work closely with the supply chain and take ownership of the full accounts receivable function including converting DN to AR invoices, allocating customer payments, reconciling customer accounts, and ensuring new customer accounts are set up correctly ensuring compliance to internal procedures. Credit control duties. Accounts Payable: Making sure all invoices are approved according to DOA, coded, and entered in SAP. Run weekly payments for all suppliers and staff reimbursements and ensure all invoices are paid on time with no errors. Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. Banking: Perform weekly bank reconciliations Month-end: Support the month-end process by providing documentation for month-end journals Year-end Auditing: Assisting in year-end auditing and tax return. Others: Assist with any ad-hoc reports and duties when required.
