We are looking for a sales-minded Business Development Executive to join our team and play a key role in expanding RD Contents client base. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, we expect you to: Be adaptable in a fast-moving work environment with many moving parts within the company. Have a strong understanding of business and how companies operate in different industries. Be interested in both business and the creative/film industry, understanding how the two intersect. Be self-sufficient and self-driven, always looking for opportunities to connect and build relationships. Have excellent written and spoken English. Have impeccable organisational skills, ensuring your email inbox is tidy, logging all conversations in our CRM system, keeping deals updated, and being meticulously prepared for meetings. Be confident speaking to new people, making a positive, likeable, and knowledgeable first impression. Be a trusted advisor, making new clients feel comfortable discussing and sharing new projects. Understand why video is crucial for brands and how it impacts businesses in the wider communications landscape. Have a strong passion for marketing and sales, understanding what drives decision-making in different industries. Stay aware of trends in the advertising and marketing industry. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the video production process. Have a feisty attitude, hungry to close deals and secure new sales meetings. Be willing to do research, take initiative, and actively seek out new connections. What will the role involve? Identifying and prospecting industries of your choice, creating a pipeline of clients, and developing a personalised outreach strategy. Reaching out to potential clients via email, calls, LinkedIn, and networking events to arrange introductory meetings. Managing and updating a pipeline of prospective clients using our CRM system (HubSpot). Handling inbound responses from potential leads, addressing objections, and guiding them toward sharing a brief with us. Working on the business side of a creative agency, bridging the gap between sales, marketing, and video production. Creating key documents such as client briefs, agency decks, case studies, and award entries. Providing creative input, helping shape the stories we tell and ensuring our outreach aligns with our brands storytelling approach. How to apply?
