Job Title: Strategic Communications Implementation OfficerSalary: £300 - £400 per dayWork Patter: Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)The roleTo review the strategic approach of Communications in order to identify what is working well, what is required to develop a more strategic approach and how the organisation achieves this.Create a roadmap from the review that will build in strategic approach to communications that develop the future direction of Communications as a service.To report to the Director on what is the needed to become more strategic in order that decisions on direction, resources and priorities can be made.To begin working to deliver on the roadmap created, including the setup of processes and ways of working to enable strategic input to the Communication service provided across the organisation.Key requirements Produce a review report on future strategic direction of CommunicationsDevelop roadmap, action plan to implement and deliver the outcomes/direction of the new emerging communication strategy that align with organisational goals and objectives within a strategic contextDevelop a Strategic Approach to Communications that embraces modern technologyReview and develop a strategic approach to identify and engage with key stakeholdersReview and development key communication performance measures that measure service performance and performance of the communications engaged withDevelop strategic direction to develop and deliver:The promotion of the organisation and their business,CampaignsEffective use of social Media including responsible use of AIInternal staff messagingA long term (Annual) rolling Communication Programme that capture campaigns, regular communications, consultation communication, etcKey engagement:Engage with the Communications Corporate Manager and team to determine what is requiredEngage with Lead members of both authorities and senior officersEngage with stakeholdersReview present documentation including policies, strategies and the emerging Communication StrategyReview our strategic approach with that of best practiceIf you are interested in the role please apply and I can arrange a call to go over the position in detail.
