Small bore tubing and high-pressure pipework.Proficiency in working with pneumatic control systems, copper pipework for cooling systems, pumps, and hydraulicsEnsure accuracy and quality in assembling mechanical componentsCollaborate with design teams to interpret technical specifications and implement design changes as necessaryExecution of comprehensive testing protocols on mechanical systems, including nitrogen purging and pressure testingUnderstanding and skilled in Hydraulic systems and PneumaticsConduct thorough testing and performance evaluations on mechanical systemsIdentify and troubleshoot any mechanical issues during testing phasesPerform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionalityWork closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and designers, to address mechanical challenges and improve system efficiencyProvide valuable insights and feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of mechanical designs and processesAdhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations during all mechanical operationsParticipate in safety training programs and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleaguesResponsible for maintaining housekeeping standards; taking pride in the workplaceMAIN DELIVERABLES IN ROLEEquipment assembly within specified timelines100% adherence to build quality standards and specificationProactive communication with design teams to address any ambiguities or challenges in technical specifications prior to buildTimely execution of comprehensive testing protocols on mechanical systemsSwift identification and resolution of mechanical issues encountered during testing phasesStrict adherence to safety protocols during all mechanical operationsProactive identification and rectification of any safety hazards (including regular IAR submissions)Active involvement in safety training programs.PERSON SPECIFICATIONSkillsProven experience as a Mechanical Technician,Small Bore tubing, pipework and pressure testing experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsA self-starter with high use of initiativeProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsIf you have experience in small bore pipe work/pipe bending that is an advantage, but not essentialFamiliarity with relevant tools and equipment used in mechanical assembly and testingGood working competence with Microsoft (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)Excellent proactive communication, cross functionallyStrong teamwork abilitiesQualificationsHNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering (time served apprenticeship)IOSH Working Safely is advantageous but not essential
