Reporting to the sector CEO and board of directors, this is a great opportunity for a driven leader to contribute to this fantastic business. The individual will also support the business in identifying and executing strategic acquisitions, helping to shape the portfolio for future success.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate divestiture assets, ensuring alignment with the business's portfolio strategy.Asset Optimisation: Work closely with Management and the Executives to optimise assets for sale through strategic, operational, and financial reviews.End-to-End Management: Lead the entire divestiture process, from governance and project planning to contract negotiation and deal closure.Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate principal risks, ensuring smooth and successful transactions.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and cultivate strong relationships with external partners, consultants, and transaction stakeholders.Market Analysis: Monitor external markets, analyse comparable sales, and provide strategic recommendations to decision-makers.Market Opportunity Identification: Identify and evaluate attractive markets and potential acquisition targets.Deal Execution Support: Assist in all phases of the M&A process, including due diligence, valuation, and deal closing.Strategic Projects: Lead or support strategic analytical projects for the sector and operating companies.Key Experience:Divestiture Expertise: Significant experience in leading divestiture transactions (Small to Mid-Market; $10-$200m EV).Strategic Acumen: Ability to analyse market trends, optimise asset value, and develop effective deal strategies.Project Leadership: Proven ability to organise and lead cross-disciplinary project teams.Financial Expertise: Strong financial reporting and control experience, with a solid understanding of valuation and modeling.Communication & Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Hands-On Approach: A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a willingness to get into the details.Adaptability & Collaboration: Highly flexible and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business or finance; graduate degree preferredTo Apply:Please provide a transaction sheet detailing your M&A and Divestiture experience along with your CV.Were passionate about creating an inclusive workplace for our clients that promotes and values diversity.
