The Service Technician will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting issues, providing field service, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The role involves regular customer interaction to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.QualificationsSkills in Maintenance & Repair, and Field ServiceCompetence in Troubleshooting and Customer ServiceAbility to perform tasks independently and remotelyStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPrevious experience in a technical service role is a plusRelevant technical or vocational training is preferredWork experience on packaging machinery would be desirable.Willingness to travel in the UK & Ireland (Min 60%)Completed an apprenticeship in the field of electronics/mechatronics that is at least three years long, and an apprenticeship as a technician is desiredBelow is a list of the educational requirements:Ideally, I need them to have done an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer Apprenticeship.Level 3 NVQ in Electrical EngineeringStrong electrical and mechanical skillsSiemens PLC familiarity City and Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Installations BS7671 Or higherDiploma in Electrical/Electronic EngineeringEngineering Maintenance (1788)
