Astra Content is seeking an outstanding Engagement Editor (UK-based) to work with a major client's digital publication focused on marketing and technology.A key member of the UK team, the Engagement Editor will be a switched-on, proactive problem-solver with unbeatable writing and project management skills.The successful candidate will manage content promotion, case study writing, social media, and email newsletters, as well as occasionally write feature articles for the global publication.This role straddles content and organisation: as well as proven experience in scheduling complex projects across a number of teams, the successful candidate will have the writing and editing skills necessary to manage external agencies to ensure they create impactful content, imagery and CMS updates aimed at the marketing industry.Liaising with a number of cross-functional stakeholders to achieve content sign-off is a major part of this role.About you Additional assets for this position include:Ability to schedule projects, retain project oversight at all stages, and ensure uninterrupted workflowKnowledge of and proven experience in using project tools and managing content using a CMS, including posting material as requiredA willingness to step in to help colleagues throughout the organisation and solve problems sensitively and effectivelyExcellent coordination skills which will be needed to liaise daily with various cross-functional stakeholders and departments, including legal, sales, PR and many global teamsExperience in scheduling interviews with external stakeholders.Good knowledge of marketing and B2B solutionsExperience in managing paid mediaThis full-time remote contract position.
