This is a unique opportunity to build and shape the data landscape from the ground up, working closely with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.This pivotal role sits somewhere between Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering and will involve:Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data models and pipelines to ensure clean, well-structured data for analytics and reportingImplementing and maintaining ELT/ETL processes using tools like DBT and FivetranOwning and optimising data warehousing (Snowflake) and ensuring efficient data managementCollaborating with software engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality, accessible datasetsEstablishing best practices for data governance, quality, documentation and version controlIdentifying opportunities to improve data accessibility and driving automation in data workflows Must have requirements:Strong proficiency in SQL and DBTAt least intermediate proficiency in Python and GitExperience designing, building and maintaining data pipelinesFamiliarity with date warehousing architecture and implementationVisualisation experience, ideally with Tableau Bonus points for:Experience with Fivetran and SnowflakeFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS)Experience with Terraform and Docker Please note: unfortunately, this role does not offer VISA sponsorship.
