Due to continued growth and new contracts, theyre looking for a detail-oriented CAD Technician with strong SolidWorks skills to join their in-house design team.This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys precision, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and loves bringing physical products to life.Key Responsibilities:Produce detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorksPrepare manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, and BOMsWork closely with the engineering and prototyping teams to refine product designsMake drawing revisions based on testing, feedback, and production needsEnsure all designs meet relevant mechanical and manufacturing standardsContribute to product improvement and new concept developmentWhat Were Looking For:2+ years' experience using SolidWorks in a product design or manufacturing environmentConfident producing precise drawings for CNC, injection moulding, or sheet metal fabricationSolid understanding of materials, tolerances, and DFM (design for manufacture) principlesStrong attention to detail and version controlAble to interpret and adapt technical specifications and design briefsExperience with PDM systems or mechanical testing is a plusBenefits:Work on innovative, real-world products from concept to productionAccess to in-house prototyping and fabrication toolCareer development and training in advanced CAD techniques
