Our client, a PE-backed professional services business, are seeking a Contractor Payroll expert to join their team, and oversee all day-to-day finance and compliance issues related to contractor management. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee contractor payments, invoice postings in multiple currencies, and handle contractor queriesManage and Support two junior members of the teamconduct cost vs revenue gross profit reconciliation, and accrue costs and revenues as necessaryEnsure timely contractor payments, process timesheets, and manage contract invoicesGenerate and send sales invoices, chasing outstanding debt and handling queriesConduct IR35 umbrella company audits and produce quarterly HMRC Intermediary ReportsEnhance system automation and mapping between CRM, timesheet, and accounting systemsRequirementsMin 3 years experience in a finance departmentProficiency in Sage50, Intime Timesheet system, and Bullhorn CRMExcellent communication skills and a team playerStrong IT literacy and advanced Excel skillsAttention to detail and a proactive, enthusiastic approach
