Job Description

Position: Assistant Brand Manager Reports to: Senior Brand ManagerLocation: 3 days in London office, work from home with some travel to restaurants requiredThe RoleAs Assistant Brand Manager, you will support the brand marketing team in executing the commercial strategy across our owned comms platform to enhance ASKs brand positioning in the UK casual dining market - to drive covers across new and repeat customers, retaining brand affinity and frequent visits.The Assistant Brand Manager will play a crucial role in delivering the brands online presence, engaging with customers, cross functional teams and external agencies.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management managing the delivery of ASK Italians organic content strategy across their social platforms including Instagram and TikTok. Develop and execute a social plan aligned with the brand comms strategy and core audience set by the Marketing Director and Senior Brand ManagerPlan and maintain a content calendar in line with key comms messages and launchesIdentify and leverage trending topics and opportunities to engage the audiencePerformance tracking and trend monitoringCampaign Activation supporting the Senior Brand Manager and Brand Manager to create and deliver impactful campaigns, key calendar dates and seasonal activity. Executing plans in collaboration with our PR agency, including booking in press visits, organising events and bespoke campaign elements.Local Marketing delivering local marketing support to the restaurant and Operations teams, developing strong working relationships and managing ad hoc requests. Engaging local partners such as shopping centres, charities and gin partners to maximise visibility amongst the customer base.TOPS Transformations and restaurant openings managing the delivery of marketing support to launch transformation restaurants and/or new restaurant openings with a cross function steering group to drive set commercial objectives and brand impact.Website Management Utilise content management system to keep the brand site and overall digital presence up-to-date with content in-line with key brand messages, menus, campaigns, SEO build support, and core information. Working with the Brand Manager and our appointed web agency to maintain the smooth running of the site, monitoring content through regular checks and measuring performance on Google Analytics and SEO. Ownership of updating content, listings and imagery on our YEXT and Design My Night platforms.Charity - Supporting ASK Italians Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) business plan, by managing the delivery of our charity partnership and food steps program.Experience RequiredMinimum 2-3 years experience in a marketing roleWorking in a fast-paced customer facing environment, with the ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously, on time and within budgetExperience of working with a website or blog CMS systems and Google AnalyticsExperience managing social media platforms essentialExperience working with PR agencies and influencer management desirable Marketing degree educated or equivalentRestaurant, retail or multi-site brand experience helpfulA real interest in food, wine and Italy would be a plusSkills and Behaviours Content generation: creative thinking and flair to bring forward new ideas aligning to the brand direction and strategy that resonates with our core target audience Project management: excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise multi projects and deliver tasks effectively in a timely manner Copywriting skills: able to adopt brand tone of voice and confident in writing copy across multiple channelsCommunication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with SBM, BM, internal marketing and cross functional teamsStrong interpersonal skills: proactive and confident in making own decisions and communicating across all levelsTeamwork mentality: Ability to work collaboratively with a range of people in different roles
