Head of Finance | Live Entertainment Business | 6-9Month FTC | LondonHarmonic are delighted to be working once again with one of the UKs most exciting and renowned live entertainment businesses in the search for their next Head of Finance. This is a 6 9 month fixed term contracted position, working closely with the business directors during the hiring process for a Chief Financial Officer.The Business: With a strong international presence, the company have grown from strength to strength since inception, organising and promoting some of the UKs most popular events and shows. After developing an international foothold in recent years, our client truly lead the way in their field. Having recently secured a successful funding round, there is a hugely stable environment in place for the business to continue with their scaling plans.The Role:Reporting directly into the Founders / Directors, this hybrid role will be responsible for the management and development of a junior finance team across AP and AR, taking responsibility across the finance function, and supporting on year end. This contracted position will hold high levels of influence, support the business throughout the search for a permanent CFO with an aim to have this post filled in the next 6 months. While an initial contract, there is the possibility for this position to go permanent in accordance to alignments between all parties and incoming CFO.Duties:Duties will include:Full overarching financial control including management, training and development of AP and AR teams.Financial management of summer and winter live events that include festivals, cabaret, live shows and theatre productionsProduction of management reports, budgeting/forecasting, including preparation of annual accounts.Daily cashflow maintenance liaising with suppliers, customers, and financial institutions.Reporting on financial functions over multiple locationsImproving financial processes and efficiencies to ensure smooth month end functions.Working closely with department heads in marketing, programming, operations and productions to ensure profitable events and festivals.Strategically working with the directors to establish an international presence.What we need to see (essential):ACCA/CIMA/ACA QualifiedQualified by substantial experience consideredSelf starting mentality with positive, hard working attitudeWhat wed like to see (beneficial):Prior experience in Events/Festivals/Entertainment/Retail/HospitalitySalary: 85,000 - 110,000 (annual equivalent)Start Date: ASAPContract Duration: 6-9 months (temp to perm potential)Location: Central London (3 days in office / 2 days WFH)If this is something of interest, please get in touch at max.springer@harmonicfinance.com or apply online.
