We are seeking a Head of Finance to play a pivotal role in supporting our mission.--- About the RoleAs our Head of Finance, you'll lead a committed finance team, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting and operational support across the organisation. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will drive performance improvements, champion best practices, and ensure all financial activity aligns with regulatory standards and organisational needs.Your key responsibilities will include: Leading daily financial operations and team management Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, cash forecasts, and KPIs Coordinating annual budgets and quarterly forecasts Managing statutory accounts and audit processes Partnering with stakeholders across departments to support financial decision-making Supporting funding negotiations and ensuring robust financial systems are in place--- What Were Looking ForEssential: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Experience in finance leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting Strong track record of team development and stakeholder engagement Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. Sage) and advanced Excel skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Alignment with our values and a passion for care and communityDesirable: Experience in the care or charity sectors Familiarity with funding models in adult social care--- What We Offer A meaningful role within a respected care charity The chance to make a tangible impact on the lives of older people Supportive working culture grounded in Jewish traditions and inclusive values Professional development and training opportunities 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Access to staff wellbeing initiatives, including Perkbox--- How to ApplyIf youre a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to finance, and youre passionate about making a difference, wed love to hear from you.
