Joining a team that looks at the financial results for operations in up to 80 different countries in the Western Hemisphere will provide a multiple of opportunities to learn and grow. Looking at multi-national results with multi-national team members will demonstrate the diversity of the SLB company and show how data and varied experiences create an unique environment for superior decision making and leadership. The successful candidate will be given a buddy to help the onboarding process and will be part of a team to aid networking and give support through the time with SLB. During the year, we will also provide opportunities for experiential learning, including via shadowing a senior finance person in meetings and reviews. There will be fixed sessions for feedback and advice for the intern, as well as the opportunity to give feedback to us on the program.Responsibilities and Duties: This internship will provide opportunities to learn how to operate with a global ERP, extract data in an efficient and effective manner and understand how best to present and communicate financial information to drive behaviour and aid decision makingConsolidation and Reporting of information will require dealing with many individuals from different countries and understanding the pros and cons of different communication mediums and collaborative toolsThe successful candidate will be using various dashboards to access information, as well as interrogating the ERP for both monthly routine reports and other ad hoc activities.
