Job Description

A global financial services provider is seeking an Event Manager on 12 month FTC to help deliver high quality in person and virtual events. In role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of client and staff events, working across our B2B and B2C audiences. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.RequirementsEnd-to-end event management of client conferences, roundtables, celebration dinners, speaker opportunities, and award dinners for internal Business Development team.Manage pre-event planning, onsite event management, coordinate suppliers, handle client queries, and oversee post-event evaluations.Support the Head of Events on high-profile events, ensuring seamless executionManagement of all event communications, including the invitation process and guest list management using online systems and software Develop online surveys to gauge client and staff experience post-event, as well as attendance analysis and reportingWork closely with campaign managers to ensure event outcomes are aligned with objectives and agreed KPIsDetailed budget planning, tracking, cost negotiation, reconciliation and invoice processingAbility to work effectively solo and as part of a wider team, depending on the size and complexity of the project Responsible for all relevant supplier and agency briefings, including cost negotiation, and developing new and enhancing existing supplier and agency relationshipsWork closely with Marketing Operations to ensure the meticulous management of all associated ticketing and hospitality contractsSupport with all ticketing and hospitality bookings, hospitality box allocations, ad hoc ticketing and bulk seat inventories as requiredRequirements: 5+ years experience in B2B and/or event managementFinancial services experience is preferredExperience of working for a large corporate is preferredSkilled in idea generation and design, with the ability to take an event from concept through to deliveryExcellent stakeholder management skillsAbility to source appropriate venues, produce event proposals & manage the delivery of events from conception to completionExperience delivering Webinars as well as in-person eventsVenue research, site inspections, comprehensive venue proposals to internal clientsResponsible for all relevant supplier and agency briefings, including cost negotiation, and developing new and enhancing existing supplier and agency relationshipsExperience of working in a corporate environment as part of an integrated marketing teamStrong experience in both in person and virtual platform and broadcast eventsExperience of working with suppliers/agencies and ability to negotiate effectivelyUnderstanding of hospitality and ticketing for third party eventsStrong writing, communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detailexperience with DotDigital, CRM Dynamics, Sharepoint, Cvent preferredThis is a 12-month FTC
