Senior Salesforce Developer60,000 per annumCentral London (2 days/week onsite, remainder remote)Full time, permanent roleProfessional/Membership BodyKey Responsibilities:Lead the development, improvement, and support of a major organisation's Salesforce platformDrive adoption and optimise the use of Salesforce across teams to help the organisation become more data-drivenAct as the in-house Salesforce technical expert, overseeing implementation, integration, and supportDefine and design Salesforce application and data architectureLine manage the Junior Salesforce Developer and Salesforce AdministratorCollaborate with Membership, Exams, Events, and third parties to ensure smooth CRM operationsLead on system upgrades, enhancements, and testing to maintain a stable and efficient platformProvide staff training and support to maximise Salesforce capability and data qualitySet technical standards, coach team members, and review Salesforce releases for impact and opportunitiesWork with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and End Users to identify enhancements and troubleshoot issuesContribute to accurate project delivery estimates and support delivery through to implementationDesign technical solutions based on business requirements and maintain project code in source controlOversee project risks and ensure on-time, high-quality deliverySupport strategic IT and Digital planning and resource allocationChampion collaborative working across internal teams for seamless delivery of systems and servicesKey requirements:Salesforce Administrator and Developer certifications (essential)Degree in Computer Science or related field2+ years' experience in Salesforce project developmentStrong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce APIsProven ability to lead Salesforce projects and manage cross-functional relationshipsStrong understanding of multiple Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing CloudExperience with data tools like Data Loader and DemandToolsConfident in integration techniques including REST, SOAP, oAuth, and SSOSkilled in data manipulation, reporting, and dashboard designComfortable working in DevOps environments with tools like GIT, Jenkins, and JIRA
