PE Global is currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a leading Healthcare client based in Basildon, Essex.This is an initial 3 months contract position paying up to 30 ph Umbrella.Duties of the role/Responsibilities Attending Division/Directorate meetings and participate fully in their agendas, including the provision of expert financial advice to senior Division managers, and attendance and presentation of financial reports at monthly meetings. To maintain communication with the Divisional/Directorate Clinical management teams, including Clinical Directors, the ADO and the Head of Nursing, on a regular basis. To oversee the work of Finance staff and to take a leading role in the production of monthly budget statements and financial reports in accordance with the Trust agreed timetables and departmental policies and procedures.To prepare consolidated financial monthly performance reports and forecasts analysing trends and variances for the Head of Financial Management, Site and Executive Directors, Trust Board, Clinical Division/Directorate and external agencies in accordance with the Trust monthly financial timetable. To support and develop the Finance team professionally and personally including performance management through appraisals, PDPs, objectives setting and assisting in CPD together with identifying training needs and delivering on these through internal and external sources.To take a leading role in the setting of the Divisional/Directorate Budgets in consultation with the Divisional/Directorate Clinical management teams, and in financial planning.Education/Experience CCAB, finalist or qualified by experience. Demonstrable evidence of continuous personal and professional development.Expert theoretical knowledge of accounting, healthcare accounting and Public Sector Accounting policy.Knowledge and experience of strategic and business planning and investment appraisal process.Knowledge and experience of performance management techniques.Experience of budget setting to prepare plans for financial and human resources.High level of ability in designing, developing, managing and maintaining complex computerised financial systems, spreadsheets and databases.To be able to carry out business ensuring all accounting treatments are adhering to Generally Agreed Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.Please click the link below to apply, call Anett on +44 7561 690798 or alternatively send an up to date CV to anett@peglobal.co.uk.
