In this role, you will combine creative design thinking with technical understanding to craft intuitive solutions for our property management platform.Key Responsibilities:Drive full product lifecycle from concept through delivery, including market research, specifications, wireframes, development oversight, and coordinating successful launchesCreate detailed mock-ups and/or interactive prototypes that demonstrate complete user journeys and feature flowsWrite and maintain clear product specifications with detailed acceptance criteriaWork directly with developers to understand technical constraints and possibilitiesPropose and document data models for new features, showing understanding of data relationships and storage requirementsUse database analysis skills to investigate customer issues and validate potential solutions through data querying and explorationParticipate in technical planning sessions, contributing both design and implementation ideasABOUT YOURequired Skills and Experience:You must be eligible to work in the UKA university degree is required (Bachelor minimum)3+ years' experience as Product Owner, designing and delivering business software features involving complex workflows and data management, with demonstrated success in property management systems or similar B2B applicationsAbility to read API documentation and work with developers to optimise API interactions for the best user experienceExperience designing and implementing AI-enhanced features in software products, such as automated suggestions, content generation, or intelligent data processing workflowsKnowledge of Figma, Axure or similar design tools, with experience demonstrating detailed user flowsStrong understanding of data modelling concepts and database relationshipsComfortable writing database queries to analyse data and validate design decisionsExperience working directly with development teams to implement solutionsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simplyPersonal Qualities:Meticulous attention to detail in both visual design and technical documentationNatural curiosity about how things work "under the hood"Eager to understand both the "what" and the "how" of feature implementationClear communication and reasoningAbility to defend and explain technical decisionsSelf-motivated with ability to manage multiple prioritiesWHAT THE COMPANY OFFERSPermanent full-time role25 paid holidays per year plus statutory bank holidays, healthcare, pensionThe role will be based from home but there will be ad-hoc meetings in the office located in London.Regular training & meetings to support your development.Combine success and fun within a great company together with smart and driven people.My client prides itself in an open highly diverse culture, where what matters is not who you are, but what you can do or learn, to help the company move forward!Key RequirementsRole OverviewHybrid position combining product ownership and management responsibilitiesResponsible for feature delivery, design, and development oversightCreates mockups and collaborates directly with development teams and architectsTechnical understanding required, including basic SQL (or willingness to learn)Not a coding role, but must understand technical conceptsTechnical CapabilitiesShould be able to discuss:Database relationships and API architecturesComplex data requirements and solutionsSystem integration challenges and implementationsData validation and error handlingQuality assurance and testing approachesEssential Soft SkillsLeadership abilityQuick decision-making capabilitiesClear communication and reasoningAbility to defend and explain technical decisionsStakeholder management
