Product Excellence is a Protein Works initiative which sets the bar higher than ever - and we need your help!As Product Excellence Specialist you’ll be at the forefront of all things product. You will act as the guardian of high quality and ensure that every product leaving our manufacturing facility meets our high standards and that all raw materials are meticulously evaluated before entering. Working collaboratively with the Quality, and NPD teams, you’ll drive quality from inception to final production - making sure we get it right the first time. You will also proactively support our operations by leading continuous improvement activities.Here are some of the key activities you will be involved in from day one;Quality Evaluations: Conduct thorough organoleptic, physical, and analytical assessments on products produced both internally and externally, ensuring they meet defined quality standards.Raw Material Verification: Collaborate closely with the SQA team to inspect and positively release incoming raw materials, confirming they meet agreed specifications.New Product Development: Work with the NPD team to oversee production trials and verify that new products are manufactured precisely to specification.Continuous Improvement: Partner with various operational teams to initiate and implement improvement projects that enhance product quality .Data Management & Analysis: Maintain detailed records and perform trend analyses to identify areas for quality improvement.Auditing: Execute regular audits to verify that quality standards are consistently upheld across all departments.Issue Resolution: Lead follow-up investigations into non-conforming products and ingredients, developing and implementing effective corrective actions.Cross-Functional Support: Provide quality assurance expertise to support other business areas as needed.You’re Naturally Like This…You have strong attention to detailYou love food and have experience taking protein shakes and other food supplementsYou are a highly enthusiastic and a lover of improving and developing new ways of workingYou are an avid self-learner and teacherYou place high value on delivering business impact, and creating robust processesYou are an uncommonly fast learnerNon-Negotiables You do not have any food allergies or intolerancesYou have a strong pallet and are passionate about trying different supplementsHighly organised and excellent verbal and written skillsComputer literacy with the ability to work with various Microsoft programsDesirables Experience working in a food manufacturing environmentExperience in QA/QCBasic food safety and HACCP CertificationExperience with conducting sensory evaluationsInternal auditor trainingJoin Protein Works: Home of the Best Shakes on the Planet Protein Works® is a multi-award-winning healthy food brand based in the Northwest.
