This is a key leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of retail operations and ensuring the sales team provides exceptional customer service that meets POP MART's standards.This management position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for retail management. Your enthusiasm for designer toys will make you a competitive candidate. The position reports to and receives functional guidance from the Area Manager.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervisionDevelop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and improve store performanceProvide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaintsTrain, mentor, and supervise the sales team, ensuring they adhere to company policies and proceduresClosely monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the merchandising team and management for replenishmentControl stock discrepancy by monitoring inventory levels and implementing loss prevention measuresManage visual merchandising, ensuring the store's tidiness and cleanliness are maintained at the highest levelOversee cashier point operations, including daily opening and closing proceduresConduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updatesLead recruitment efforts, evaluate potential candidate's performance, and train new team membersPerform administrative tasks such as rota scheduling, payroll management, and sales reportingEnsure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulationsBe available to work flexible hours.Required QualificationsProven experience (4+ years) in retail management, preferably in a similar industryBachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)Fluent in professional English, with excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing teamProven ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and improve store performanceExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailProficient in administrative tasks such as rota scheduling, payroll management, and reportingTeam-oriented with the ability to foster a positive work environmentCandidates with less experience can also apply for the Assistant Store Manager positionDesirable but Not EssentialMulti-lingual language ability (Chinese Mandarin is an advantage but not essential)Experience in the toy or collectibles industryKnowledge of visual merchandising techniquesFamiliarity with retail management software and point-of-sale systemsJob Type: Full-timePay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Commission payBenefits:Company pensionSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availability
