We are working with a leading UK-based holiday and leisure operator with a strong national footprint, who are looking for a Regulatory Lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis.Responsibilities: Provide expert legal, regulatory, compliance, corporate governance, and conduct risk advice to internal stakeholders, including the Executive team.Act as a trusted adviser to group boards, offering regular reporting and constructive challenge.Support commercial projects by delivering tailored legal and regulatory input throughout.Advise on financial crime and anti-money laundering compliance, overseeing related processes and controls.Provide guidance on FCA obligations and ensure frameworks are in place for continued regulatory compliance.Support the administration and governance of offshore insurance structures.Stay informed on corporate law developments to maintain up-to-date corporate compliance.Advise on financial promotions and advertising, ensuring legal and regulatory alignment.Lead on the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures to meet legal and regulatory standards.Support the management and investigation of legal and compliance-related incidents, including whistleblowing, consumer credit, consumer rights, and data protection issues.Requirements:Qualified as a solicitor in England & WalesAt least 5 years PQERegulatory specialism FCA/consumer credit gained either in house or private practicePrevious experience in working in financial services/ consumer credit/ motor finance businessGood knowledge of consumer credit laws and regulations.Proven track record of understanding business processes and supporting changeAbility to demonstrate management of senior stakeholders
