Job Title: Manager, Strategy & Policy Development Financial ServicesThe successful candidate is required to relocate to Bermuda. All relocation fees will be covered by the client. We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and proactive professional to join their Supervision team within the financial services sector. Reporting directly to the Director, the Manager will play a key role in supporting the strategic and operational goals of the department. This position requires close collaboration with senior leadership to drive performance, lead critical initiatives, and contribute to the development of policy and legislation across the broader financial services landscape.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and coordinate departmental inputs for internal reports, including strategic and enterprise-wide submissions for executive reviewMonitor progress on strategic initiatives and performance indicators, ensuring timely delivery and accountability across the teamManage the coordination of cross-departmental deliverables, including the development of reports, briefings, and updatesCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to organise supervisory engagements, including the facilitation and maintenance of key agreementsLead or support drafting of legislative, regulatory, and policy updates relevant to the BTCSI sectors, working closely with internal legal and policy teamsRepresent the department at internal meetings, external stakeholder engagements, and industry discussions as requiredCoordinate professional development and training activities for the department in partnership with HR and external providersConduct research to support horizon scanning and provide insights on trends in financial services, products, and innovationContribute to other strategic projects and initiatives as assigned by senior leadershipRequired Qualifications and Experience:Masters degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline from a recognised institutionRelevant professional designation or certification (e.g. CA, CPA, CFA, FRM, ACIS, FCI, or TEP)At least seven (7) years of relevant experience, with a minimum of three (3) years at a senior level within a financial services environmentPrevious experience working in a regulatory body is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetDemonstrated experience in preparing reports and briefings for senior leadershipExceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levelsProven ability to manage projects and deliver results with minimal oversightFamiliarity with prudential matters and supervisory themes in the financial services sector is a strong asset
