Head of Procurement Operational Real Estate London Generous salary + excellent bonus & benefits This is a rare and unique opportunity to join a market leading consultancy focusing on operational real estate (Hotels, PBSA, BTR, PRS) as the head of their new Procurement division. Due to a recent acquisition this consultancy is now able to satisfy their investor and owner/occupier clients demand for Procurement services.You will be part of the leadership team which will facilitate a smooth merger process, continue to service the existing Procurement client base of the acquired business as well as taking the service to the existing clients of the business that has acquired the market leading procurement consultancy. You will be leading a team of 4 specialists.Key Responsibilities include:Developing a clearly defined procurement strategy for Hard and Soft FM programmesIdentifying clear objectives for each clients procurement project and creating evaluation criteria that reflects the objectivesRequest and collect bids and relevant vendor data for analysisCompare and contrast bids, negotiate best pricing and evaluate whether the scope of services meets the clients needsWork with legal consultants to ensure contract documents are correct and enforceableAttend client meetings, site visits and contractor meetings to ensure engagementTailoring bespoke servicesThis role would suit someone with real estate procurement experience, who has had direct reports previously. The ideal candidate will have worked with owners of operational assets previously, but this is not essential. The business has exciting plans for scaling further and going into new markets, ensuring this opportunity will continue to be interesting and exhilarating.
