AA Euro Group is currently recruiting for a Lead Project Manager on behalf of a major power and renewables contractor. This is a permanent role based in Glasgow, with a focus on substation projects across the Greater Glasgow region.The Role:As the Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of high-value substation projects, from planning through to completion. This is a pivotal role offering long-term career prospects with a growing industry leader in the power and renewables space.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project delivery for electrical infrastructure projects, particularly substations.Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.Manage client and stakeholder relationships to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycle.Coordinate and direct on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain high performance and safety standards.Monitor project milestones and ensure all deliverables are met on time and within budget.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.Contribute to the continuous improvement of project processes and procedures.Requirements:Extensive experience in power and renewables projects, with a strong track record managing substation works.Electrical engineering background or significant electrical project exposure is essential.Proven leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams.Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication abilities.Relevant engineering or project management qualifications (e.g., HND/Degree, PMP/PRINCE2) are highly desirable.Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
