Maxim Park also host events throughout the year for employees on the park.Seewww.maximpark.co.ukfor more information on the parkThe Role:The Role is for a site based Sustainability and Community CoordinatorRole Summary:The role of Sustainability & Community Coordinator is to proactively engage with all key stakeholders and take the lead on further developing, implementing, and reporting on our biodiversity and active travel programmes specifically, as well as supporting the development, delivery and reporting of our wider ESG strategy and initiatives, as we strive to support our tenants on the path to Net Zero.The Sustainability & Community Coordinator will manage a calendar of engaging events designed to support our key business objectives around managing work life balance for our onsite tenants. This includes pop up food events, engaging competitions and our onsite allotment space.This is a customer focussed role at its core and excellent relationship management is a key component of the role.Responsibilities:Responsibilities include:Driving forward the Parks sustainability strategyManaging the Parks travel strategy including public transport, cycling, electrification and car sharingCreating and running events on siteAssisting with the managing of the social media channelsAssisting with some administrative work for the daily running of the ParkAssisting with some reception duties when requiredBudget preparation and reporting for work streams and eventsReporting Relationships:Reporting to: Maxims Director of Park ServicesWorking alongside the Operations Team, consisting of Facilities-Coordinator and key partners to include site Security TeamSupporting our Park asset managers, Shelborn Asset Managements Director of Sustainability and CommunityBackground & Experience:Customer facing experience including relationship buildingEvents Management experienceEffective Communications skillsInnovative ideas around engaging staff not afraid to think outside the box when coming up with new ideasA good understanding of Sustainability Issues and how they can be integrated into business strategyAbility to prioritise within a multi-tasking environment, flexibility and attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.Whilst sustainability experience is desirable, onsite training including Carbon Literacy Training will be offered alongside the support of an offsite Sustainability Director, were ideally looking for someone who can actively create an engaging community and work well with our onsite operations team to create a great place to work.Additional Information:External Closing Date: 9thMay 2025Advertised Salary Range: 26,000 28,000Job Type/Contract Type: PermanentHours per week: 37.5
