Interim Commercial Director 3 Month Rolling Contract | UK-Based | Hybrid Working | Competitive PayA leading provider of healthcare equipment and community services is seeking an experienced Interim Commercial Director to join its senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role at the heart of a values-driven organisation that partners extensively with Local Authorities and NHS Trusts across the UK to support independent living and community health outcomes.About the RoleAs Interim Commercial Director, you will take full strategic and operational ownership of the organisations commercial function. Youll lead on the management and renewal of key public sector contracts, develop robust commercial strategies, and ensure sustainable revenue growth while delivering exceptional service outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the negotiation and re-tendering of major Local Authority contracts, ensuring commercially sound, compliant, and value-driven outcomes.Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with commissioning bodies, particularly Local Authorities and Integrated Care Systems.Drive contract performance reviews, risk assessments, and commercial governance across all existing public sector agreements.Support pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and financial modelling for bids and renewals.Collaborate closely with operations, clinical services, and supply chain teams to align service delivery with commercial objectives.Guide the business through a period of commercial transformation, contributing to long-term planning and growth initiatives.About YouProven experience as a senior commercial leader in a healthcare, local government, or social care setting.A strong track record in negotiating and managing large-scale contracts with Local Authorities or NHS commissioners.Commercially astute, with deep knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks and contracting models.Adept at managing complexity, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering outcomes under pressure.Comfortable operating in a mission-led environment with a strong social value ethos.
