To be a successful Service Advisor, you should have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.Key responsibilitiesGreet customers warmly and assess their service requirements.Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed on their vehicles.Handle payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining a balanced account drawer.Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customers vehicle performance or longevity.Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of service requests to optimise customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up communications.Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process.Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service at all times.What youll bringStrong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.Proficient in cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions.Basic mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.Experience in upselling services or products is highly desirable.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to explain complex information clearly.Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.Our policy is to employ the best qualified people and provide equal opportunity for the advancement of employees including promotion and training and not to discriminate against any person because of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, belief, or disability.Please note we can only accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work in the UK without Sponsorship.
