7.5 TONNE DRIVER MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 7.30AM STARTS 12.73 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Newmarket, Suffolk. Benefits As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will receive the following benefits: Ongoing work Weekly pay Immediate starts Employee Well-being Programme Rates of Pay: 12.73 per hour - minimum of eight hours per shift paid Day to Day Duties Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to: RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side) Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Multidrop parcel delivery Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Up to five drops per day - with no heavy lifting Essential Skills As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category C1 vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience with multi drop deliveries Training No training provided Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more TPBN1_UKTJ
