The Just Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operator.Based in Braintree, Essex, working a 37 hour week rotating early and late shifts.Early Shift Monday - Thursday: 06:00am - 14:00pm Friday: 06:00am - 13:30pm.Late Shift Monday - Thursday: 14:00pm - 22:00pm Friday: 13:30pm - 21:00pm.Successful candidate will be responsible for operating a number of CNC Sliding Head machines. A certain amount of programing editing, tool change and in process adjustments will be required through prove out according to the tools list and works instructions, producing a valid first-off component, loading and operating machines to meet desired quantities. Conducting in-process inspection, checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately to the highest standards.Skills: Experience in setting and operating CNC Sliding Head lathes. Experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings and tolerances.
