Join us as a Financial Control AnalystThis is an opportunity to support the delivery of end-to-end financial control activityWith significant exposure, youll enjoy networking with senior stakeholders across FinanceGain valuable experience and hone your expertise as you advance your career in this challenging roleWe offer a hybrid way of working where youll be based in our Manchester office at least two days a week, with the rest of your time working from homeWhat you'll doAs a Financial Control Analyst, youll establish and maintain strong working relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and deliver high quality and consistent financial, statutory, regulatory and management reporting outputs. Youll comply with relevant policies and consider and escalate the adequacy and effectiveness of the businesss controls on a regular basis.Day to day, youll:Undertake reconciliations, accounting, MI and control activities to support the ledger close, reconciliation, substantiation and reportingSupport change initiatives, process improvements and in system implementationsPrepare month-end accounting, such as journals preparation, reviews and account reconciliationInvestigate process or system issuesThe skills you'll needTo succeed in this role, youll bring experience in core financial control delivery and reporting outputs, including ledger close, balance sheet substantiation, statutory and management reporting and external audit.Well also look to you to have:An accounting qualification or be working towards completion of oneKnowledge of international accounting standardsExperience of delivering change in a financial services environmentThe ability to identify, build and enhance key relationships at a senior levelExperience of investigating and probing issues with cross-business impact
