You will be responsible for delivering quality care services and strategic planning for developments within the home. Your key responsibilities include:Leadership: Leading your team and working with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.Role Model: Acting as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.Supervision and Mentoring: Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.Daily Management: Overseeing all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.What Do You Need?Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience working within a Residential Childrens home.Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willing to work towards it.Knowledge: Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.Attributes: Highly driven, proactive, enthusiastic, and a strong people manager with a hands-on approach.Skills: Experience with budgets and rotas.Driving Licence: A full driving licence is essential.Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins.INDSCTPBN1_UKTJ
