We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Manager with at least 5 years relevant experience join our team. The successful candidate will carry out contract management activities for the various sectors the business operates in, however many projects will be focused on the railway sector within the UK and Ireland. Key AccountabilitiesManage all elements of the contract life cycle on multiple projects Manage from drafting and pre-contract negotiations through to post contract completionEnsure projects compliance to company policies and proceduresEnsure adherence to legislation and regulationsProvide early warnings, CEs, variations in accordance with contractCarry out risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate contractual risksImplement Dispute resolution mechanisms Communicate all essential terms and conditions from project contract to site Management teamsExperience & Qualifications5 years contract management experience within Construction or Rail industriesExperience in forms of contracts within the industry, NEC essentialCommercially focused with a strong understanding of financial metrics, budgets, and profit marginsSelf-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and industry professionalsKnowledge & experience of civil engineering techniques relevant to rail, highways, environmental and energy sectors.Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite including MS project or equivalentCompetent in the English languageHoursMonday to Friday (40 hours per week)BenefitsAnnual leave entitlement of 30 days including public holidays (flexible)Ongoing training and personal development opportunities
