Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to work with various materials and tools to create high-quality cabinets and furniture. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the capability to follow specifications accurately. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for both the construction and assembly of cabinets, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality.DutiesThis role requires the candidate to have a high level of cabinet making experience.Ideally in the kitchen and bedroom industry.You must be able to do the following. Core skills:Cabinet assembly to highest standard, no errors or defects on cabinets, this includes other work completed by the machinery, edging issues or cutting issues, to make sure is quality is of the highest standard.Must have In depth knowledge of machinery used in the process of manufacturing kitchens.We use Homag machines and knowledge of these machines would be an advantage, however knowledge of the same machines by different manufacturers would be ok too.Homag Beem sawHomag edgebanderHomag DrillteqTo ensure the jobs are completed on time, ensure that others are adhering to the timelines.To make sure deadlines are hit for our productsQuality control and integrity check of all cabinets is at the core of the business.To keep customers informed of any delays to manufacturing deadlinesTo work closely with the business owner to ensure all targets are metExperienceProven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar carpentry role is essential.Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles.Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Be able to bring new ideas to the business for further improvement and growthManage stock levels of component partsThis role will play a significant role in the efficiency of the business so the candidate must be confident of delivering results and have confidence that they can deliver results.
