Who we are: AND London is a regeneration and real estate consultancy based in Deptford and working acrossLondon and the South East. We are a small team of 12 but have a uniquely broad service offer across thefollowing areas: commercial; insight and research; culture and communities; placemaking; meanwhile and leasing; and brand and design.The various services that we offer within this nebulousset of sectors include: Commercial and ground floor strategies Demand assessments Cultural strategies and public art delivery Community engagement and co-design Social impact strategies and delivery Placemaking strategies and place branding Real estate insight reportsOur growing team is made up of built environment professionals with a wide range of expertise andprofessional backgrounds. The work that we do is hugely varied and no two days are the same. We workwith in the public and private sector and clients include some of the worlds largest real estate developers, localauthorities, funds and business improvement districts. The sectors that we primarily work within include: largescale masterplans, residential, mixed-use, commercial, industrial, life sciences, and high streets/public realm.Who you are: We are looking for an early-career professional to join us, working primarily in the Community Team. Workingeither as a Junior Consultant or Consultant, dependent on experience, means you will be key in the coordinationof projects.You will have some experience of the built environment and be developing a good understanding of the planningprocess. Like us, you will be passionate about creating great places that thrive and help sustain communities and the environment.The team at AND comes from a range of different professional and academic background, you may haveexperience working at a local authority, an architecture practice, design studio, or consultancy. Most importantis a keenness to learn and develop your skills.You will be working primarily in the Community Team, supporting in the delivery of community engagement,social impact strategies, cultural strategies, placemaking and meanwhile use. We work all over London and across the UK with projects in every London borough, Bristol, Oxford, Cambridge, Essex and Manchester.You will be a collaborative and adaptable person who is keen to get involved in a variety of different tasksand work closely with colleagues in the production of industry-leading reports.You will have experience in urban development and be passionate about creating equitable and exciting places.You will be a core part of the Community Team and will bring enthusiasm and know-how to the role and tacklingtasks. Being able to juggle multiple deadlines across a variety of different projects will be key.We prioritise the growth and development of all our staff, and you will be keen to learn and grow at AND London and contribute towards a cultivating a creative and fun working environment.Main Responsibilities: Support in the delivery of multiple projects and ensure successful delivery of all work. Act as a project support to the project lead and coordinate the delivery of high quality work to time andbudget. Support in the delivery of community engagement planning, logistics, communications, material productionand report writing. Support in the delivery of cultural, social impact and placemaking strategies, bringing innovative ideas anddelivering best practice outputs. Work both collaboratively and independently, taking ownership of your own workload and communicatingconfidently within the office. Develop a strong understanding of the built environment and planning processes. Maintain a positive attitude, and bring energy and enthusiasm to a small friendly team. Contribute to creating a positive working culture and bring a fresh perspective.
