Planet Pharma are partnered with a leading medical device client who is seeking a maintenance technician qualified in Electrical Engineering. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients site in Rhymney. Providing front-line maintenance and rapid breakdown response as part of a rotating shift pattern.Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities span a wide range of tasks, including maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement activities across various systems such as production machinery, chemical processing equipment, textile and conversion lines, air compressors, boilers, chiller systems, HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), and SCADA systems.Electrical and mechanical problem solving and fault diagnosis across full site.Responsible for the health and safety of themselves and others at all times during engineering interventions.To maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and GMP in all aspects of work.Ability to determine appropriate safety standards for new and existing equipment and methods of installation.Key Requirements: HNC / ONC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering preferred. Experienced in managing electrical systemsAn understanding of clean room or controlled environment controls i.e. HVAC, Humidity and Pressure Cascades etc.Broad experience in Electrical Systems, Operations and Maintenance, with proven ability in the management of site infrastructure systems and services, such as: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems and controls, Fire Protection systems, LV Electrical networks. Fluent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus ideally MS Project, CAD.General Knowledge of 18th Edition (BS-7671) IEE Regulations.Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems would be advantageous.About Planet Pharma:Planet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
