Mechanical FitterGlasgow, OnsiteSalary, Highly CompetitiveConsistent Overtime OpportunitiesRequirements for an Assembly Fitter:Disassemble and reassemble repair/service for aftermarket orders, maintaining efficiency and compliance with specified procedures.Work within the assembly department to support cost-effective production while meeting quality standards.Assist in the preparation and revision of assembly documentation, programs, and tooling as required.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.Perform tasks in other areas as needed to support operational requirements.Work alongside management to implement company policies and objectives.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.Assist in the test area if necessary, including hydro, performance, noise, and vibration testing.What are we looking for in an Assembly Fitter?Time served Apprenticeship Mechanical Fitter with up to 3 years relevant experience preferably in heavy manufacturing.Have an understanding and experience of lean manufacturing techniques.Team Player with high level of energy and commitment required for participating in and implementing change.
