Senior Construction Manager Sector: High-End Commercial Fit Out & RefurbishmentAbout Us:We are a leading Tier 1 fit-out and refurbishment contractor operating at the top of the London construction market. With a portfolio that includes some of the capitals most prestigious commercial, corporate, and landmark developments, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence through precision, innovation, and collaboration.Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming high-value projects across Central London, we are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our dynamic delivery team.The Role:As Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the successful on-site delivery of major Cat A and Cat B fit-out schemes (typically 10m+). Working closely with the Project Manager youll lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day site operations from pre-start through to handoverManage health 'safety on site, ensuring full compliance with company and legal standardsCoordinate and drive subcontractor performanceEnsure quality control procedures are maintainedWork closely with commercial and design teams to resolve issues and meet project goalsLead site progress meetings and reportingMentor and manage site-based teams and junior staffRequirements:Proven track record delivering high-value commercial fit-out projects within a Tier 1 main contractor8+ years' experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a senior capacitySMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid qualifiedExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of design & build processesPassion for quality and attention to detailWhat We Offer:Opportunity to work on iconic London projectsCareer progression within a market-leading organisationSupportive team environment and excellent company cultureCompetitive salary and benefits package (including bonus, car allowance, and pension)
