At the heart of the companys mission is a commitment to tackling climate change by enabling the UKs transition to renewable energy through innovative hydrogen technologies.The OpportunityOur client is seeking an experienced and strategically-minded Digital Programme Manager to lead the design and implementation of a digital ecosystem that enhances the companys hydrogen production and sales operations.This role is instrumental in advancing the digital transformation agenda by integrating isolated legacy systems, deploying new digital tools, and ensuring full compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with excellent programme management skills and a strong grasp of emerging digital technologies.Key Integration AreasThe programme will focus on integrating:Microsoft Dynamics CRMA custom web-based production planning toolCarbon, pricing, and scheduling data from electricity providersData from hydrogen production plant PLCsLogistics partner transport management systems (TMS)Invoicing and financial processes through Microsoft DynamicsCore Objectives:Ensure compliance with UK regulatory and pricing mechanisms, including the Low Carbon Hydrogen Standard (LCHS) and Road Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO)Optimise production costs based on renewable energy availability and wholesale energy pricingStreamline and automate sales and data management processesRole OverviewReporting to the Technical Director, this is a highly autonomous role that will interact with senior stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and drive forward a multi-stakeholder, technically complex programme from concept to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own the digital transformation roadmapEnsure compliance with relevant regulatory reporting and environmental standardsCollaborate with internal teams to define requirements and deliver tailored digital solutionsPlan and deliver digital projects within scope, budget, and timelinesSelect and manage external contractors and digital service providersIdentify and mitigate risks while establishing contingency plansReport on progress, KPIs, and programme performance to senior leadershipEmploy best-practice methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) tailored to project needsOversee dependencies between concurrent projects and broader business initiativesPromote continuous improvement and drive innovationEnsure digital solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and user-centricCandidate ProfileDegree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)Strong background in digital programme and project deliveryDemonstrated experience managing complex digital projects across platformsProven ability to deliver CRM/ERP integrations, web applications, or trading/monitoring platformsVersatile in Agile and Waterfall methodologiesExceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skillsSound financial and budgeting capabilitiesEffective multitasking and problem-solving abilities under pressureProficiency in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)Experience integrating diverse systems and technologiesKnowledge of Python is a plusFamiliarity with UK low-carbon certification schemes (LCHS, RTFC) is advantageous
