The position will play a crucial role in ensuring global trade operations adhere to all relevant sanctions regulations, with a particular emphasis on shipping and vessel compliance.Key Responsibilities:Conducting sanctions screening on vessels, counterparties, and transactions.Providing expert guidance on the application of sanctionsDeveloping and maintaining sanctions policies and procedures.Monitoring and interpreting changes in sanctions regulations and their impact on maritime activities.Conducting risk assessments and investigations related to potential sanctions breaches.Liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners on sanctions-related matters.Ideal Candidate:Proven experience as a sanctions professional within the commodities or shipping sector.In-depth knowledge of international sanctions regimes and their application to the marine industry.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.This is a permanent role based in London.
