Our client is an ambitious Alt-Net and gearing up to connect 25,000 new homes in 2025, and theyre looking for a Fibre Planner to help bolster the team and achieve this yearly goal. The leadership team is all-in on innovation, and if theres a smarter way to do something, the CEO will back you to make it happen.They have already disrupted the market with their refreshingly honest approach and now theyre scaling up, investing in the latest tech to bring seamless, high-speed connectivity to thousands more.Responsibilities:Ensure fibre projects are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with design specificationsCoordinate and schedule planning tasks across multiple projectsPrioritise workloads and monitor progress of planning activitiesTake ownership of planning from execution through to deliveryProduce detailed fibre network maps for civils, fibre build, and customer installsSupport field teams with clear, accurate mapping and planning dataLiaise with internal teams, external partners, and third partiesPlan and coordinate network changes, upgrades, and expansionsEnsure all planning aligns with agreed design standards and methodologiesSkills/Must have:A deep understanding of end-to-end fibre network build processesStrong personal motivation and the ability to deliver consistently within key performance indicatorsA solid track record of success in the telecoms sector, particularly within project delivery or planning rolesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teamsExperience with GIS platforms and mapping toolsProficiency in desktop planning tools and processesConfidence in preparing detailed job packs to support engineering and build teamsBenefits:25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pension scheme Salary:Up to 40,000 per annum
