You will be required to assist in planning, coordinating and executing engineering projects within your area of expertise, as well as representing SRC at client facing meetings with confidence and credibility. You will be working closely and directly with external/client staff, key stakeholders and the internal SRC team. Experience in multidisciplinary environmentPrepare, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects and deliverablesInterpretation and implementation of client specification requirements in the development of designs and engineering solutionsUndertake and monitor the project teams engineering tasks in accordance with the companys quality, safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls Accountable for the effective delivery of the project engineering tasks and deliverables of Projects to time, to the required qualityInputs to the formulation of technical proposals and their presentation to potential clients Maintain good relationships with clients key representatives, and contribute to the marketing / networking of the company to potential customers Monitor compliance to relevant TfL or Network Rail, British and International standards, Regulations, health safety and environmental considerationsCommunicate with the Project Manager and wider team to provide assistance and technical supportEnsure all engineering activities are carried out with consideration to key stakeholders in interfacing environmentsContribute to the overall team development and growth through strategic inputs, skill development and mentoring intermediate and graduate engineers Manage and plan your work and deliverables while working on multiple projects to meet the expected delivery milestones Undertake and monitor design reviews in accordance with requirements and programmeEssential Criteria:Right to work in the UKDegree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Bsc, MSc or MEng)At least 5+ years of previous professional engineering design / design management experience on transportation, water, and/or land development projects is requiredExperience in the Rail Industry and a sound understanding of the Rail Environment, rules and regulationsExperience and good knowledge of TfL Pathway or Network Rail GRIP, PACE and engineering standards and specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work under pressure within time constraintsDisplayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseProven capability to build relationships, be proactive and be part of a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teamsComputer literate and good experience of computer software programs such as, MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) Desirable CriteriaMaster of Science Degree in Engineering Subject or relatedMember of relevant professional body with chartership or working towards chartered statusKnowledge of the complete project life cycle Good knowledge of TfL or Network Rail standards, systems and proceduresKnowledge of TfL or Network Rail assurance processesApplication Process:If you are interested and would like to be considered for this role, please send your CV and cover letter through to recruitment@srcinfrastructure.comWe will review your application and be in contact if we feel that you are a suitable candidate.Please Note:Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will be asked to provide proof of identity, Employment/ Education History, Right to Work and Criminal Record.
