It's imperative to be organised and have strong CAD skills, with the ability to multi task. This is a great opportunity to join a fun, energetic and supportive team who work hard get great results and have a good time while doing it!The successful candidate will be responsible for designing multi product seasonal ranges, creating high-quality, on-trend garments and graphics that align with the brand's aesthetic and exceed customer expectations.This role requires a deep understanding of boyswear design, construction and fabrication alongside the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Main Responsibilities Will Include:Creating original and commercial designs for our boyswear brand, covering the entire range- consisting of multi-product categories from jersey 'sweat, through to knitwear, outerwear etc. Design unique graphics and prints and to develop and improve print methods with suppliersParticipate in the planning and development of seasonal collectionsEnsuring collections are on-brand, trend-forward and commercially viableSupporting the Head of Design to ensure critical path deadlines are met from creative concept to completionSource, develop and select high-quality fabrics that meet design and production requirementsCreating seasonally appropriate colour palettesDevelop and maintain an understanding of current and future trends in boyswear/menswearProduce detailed technical specifications and sketchesConduct fit sessions and sample reviews with technical teamPresenting collections to senior managementAnalyse market / sales data and consumer feedback to inform design decisionsConstant communication and relationship building with factories, mills and in-country teamsPerson Specifications:At least 2-3 year's experience at a 'junior Designer' Level within boys clothingProven track record of designing successful and commercially viable collectionsHigh work ethic, integrity and reliability with a "hands on" attitudeExcellent technical drawing and sketching skillsA sharp eye for detail and a passion for developing trend-led designs.Highly proficient in CAD software (e.g. Adobe Suite)Good knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and production processesStrong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience of designing graphics and/or print would be a bonusCreative yet commercial with a fashion forward handwriting
